Most of the time I try to be reasonably well tempered in guild. Sometimes I lose my rag... hopeful its not more often than I realise but sometimes I throw all my toys out of my cot and sulk... tonight was one of those times.

Damned undying

But to my chosen ones who put up with my sulks when someone dies... thank you - I just need a moment then Im all good... 'Tonight you made me laugh hard enough that I was ok before I went to bed.

We all have our gripes.... this bloody achievement is mine!

Mixed emotions

Today I am very tired (having had only a few hours sleep) and suffering the worst case of mixed emotions.

Last night after the weekly (Naxx 25 man run) 8 of us decided to go and do some of the Dedicated few achievements in Naxx.
We didn't have enough online to think about an undying so off we went. 

The eight of us managed to clear the Arachnid quarter with ease and progressed to the Plague quarter and then on to the Construct quarter. All without too much incident.We were relaxed and having fun, mucking about even.

None of us dared to talk about the fact that we had cleared three quarters without dying on a boss.. Next was military quarter but when we got to Razuvious a decision had to be made.........

Achievements Galore

Well I havent posted for awhile for a variety of reasons: I have been sick, there arent enough hours in the day and I had no inspirational rants to make. In the meantime I have been focused on my Achievements and managed to get a load of them done this week.

Update on Achievements

Well its been awhile since I posted. Mostly because of real life pressure at work and at home. I have to share the computer with my son and due to refocusinghis usage he now has an hour each evening after homework etc so its later by the time I get on and there just arent enough hours in the day. Obviously because of the work pressures I havent been staying up as late lately either.

Finally....

So we finally cleared Sunwell.

30 reputations!

I have spent what seems an endless amount of time in Dire Maul grinding rep with the Steamwheedle Cartel. I only needed 3 more reputations to hit the magic 30 OH NO now I have to aim for 35...

Anyway I have an ingame friend who showed me the easy way to rep up.. he kindly took me to the little guy who gives you the ogre costume quest and pointed out the hidden Ogre tannin source (75 rep with all four factions) and also if you get a key drop you can release him (325 rep with each) sure beats the 3 rep a kill of their enemies. I havent quite finished in Diremaul as still have to get exalted with Everlook... alas I ran out of Runecloth and had to hearth out to my bank supplies to get more... The desire to return has been somewhat reduced but tonight I WILL yes i'm pretty sure i will... ohhh look a pretty distraction... NO I will return and finish it.

Achievement update

My current achievement count is 7055 points.

With the recent patch changes I cashed in the few arena tokens I had for honor and bought a war mount giving me "Call in the Cavalry" To be honest I suck at PvP of any sort. Fighting against another living, breathing person requires reflexes and a desire to crush that I just dont possess. Well i dont have the crush desire most of the time unless someone hits my enrage timer - Dont forget Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned - or one ganked whilst fishing for terrorfish.
So the few tokens I had were as a result of my son hi-jacking my account to Pvp (back when my gear far outclassed his) or when I had begged him to help me get an achievement.

Achievements

In regards to my achievement addiction I find myself rudderless at the moment.
I have always achieved better when i have had someone to chase, to compete with.

It use to be an exguildie until he became an arse and I dont talk to him anymore.
Then it was a guildie that the whole family adore. Rather special chap - but in a sudden move he transferred his achievement toon off server (I still tell him off!) and so now who do i compete with? Where is the drive for me?

At 7035 Achievement points none of them come quite so easily anymore :(
I have been grinding rep with the Steamweedle cartel in Diremaul (thank you for the tip!)

But I need a competitor!
